Robelle Domain is a 24-hectare parkland, at the heart of Springfield’s Town Centre at a cost of $30m to deliver, but if you ask the local community and the thousands of visitors it attracts, they will tell you it is worth every dollar. While everyone loves the interactive wet and dry playground with its artist-designed tipping water bucket, and the eight light towers that give a light and sound display every evening, and the iconic grass pyramids that mark the entry from the car park, and the tree top boardwalk, and the stepped water feature leading from the new swimming lagoon… we believe it is the existing Flooded Gums trees that were meticulously retained, are the real hero of this park.

They are the inspiration for the structures, the furniture and the artwork. This park is second to none, arguably one of South East Queensland’s most popular parklands, we just love it as much as the community do.
Robelle Domain Parklands serves as a destination park for Springfield city and the surrounding SEQ region. Robelle Domain features a diverse range of engaging spaces and facilities within a fabric of urban parkland. The park is the heart and soul of Springfield and attracts a wide and varied audience. 

One of the primary aims of the park design was to provide the Springfield and Ipswich communities with a diverse recreational program and setting that is engaging, unique and relevant to the status of the park as a destination town park. The park incorporates a number of interesting features and facilities including waterfalls, cafes, water cascades, playgrounds, shady picnic areas, art work, tree top walks and spaces suitable for large community events and gatherings. Through its unique layout, program and form, the park is memorable and place making.
