A landmark hotel and residential tower transforming mid-town, this project reinvigorates a cherished part of the Sydney CBD with visionary design and vibrant new life.

The design for this 59-storey development delicately integrates with the site’s existing heritage Edwardian facades. An innovative, architecturally designed landscape vessel podium, wrapped in sandstone veneer was envisioned to support a deep planting environment. This creates an elevated, Level 4 landscape retreat, offering a world-class restorative experience for guests and residents in the heart of the city.

Extensive research into the complex urban surrounds and climatic conditions informed a regenerative planting approach. Drawing influence from pre-settlement vegetation communities, the design supports thermal comfort and embodies a deep connection to place. Through meaningful First Nations engagement, the project represents a considered direction of connecting with culture, people, and places.
