Since the opening of Stage 1 in 2011 and Stage 2 (Orion Swimming Lagoon) in 2015, Robelle Domain Parklands is now regarded as one of Queensland’s best parks and draws visitors from the broader South East Queensland.
Robelle Stage 3 will service the recreation and social needs of current and future generations in the western corridor and western regional areas of SEQ. The eastern, and in particular south-eastern suburbs of Ipswich are experiencing significant growth. These communities are currently inadequately serviced with access to green space.
Robelle Stage 3 will play an important role in completing the open space network of Greater Springfield between the growing residential community of western Springfield and the amenity of the Town Centre. Robelle Domain stage 3 will become a point for the community to meet and enjoy a relaxing, sunny day at the parklands, and will act as an important recreation overflow for the Orion Swimming Lagoon.
To ensure the continued success and growth of the Springfield region, all elements of community, economy, and recreation must be open and connected. The implementation of Robelle Domain Stage 3 facilitates and future proofs the local community and economy through intelligent and high-quality design outcomes, finishing the story, completing the puzzle.
